Michael Jackson has secret will that was never executed, publicist claims

Michael Jackson has a secret will that has never been carried out, his publicist has claimed.

Raymone Bain, the singer’s former spokesperson, addressed the media on Thursday, alleging that Jackson made a will in 2006, which according to her would supersede his current one, dated 2002, if it were to be found.

She alleged that in the 2006 will, Jackson “painstakingly outlined how he wanted his legacy to be preserved and maintained”, adding that she “[doesn’t] know where it is”.

“Michael Jackson, for anyone who knew him, was methodical, thorough and he was precise,” Bain said.

“I have wished, I have hoped and I have prayed that Michael Jackson’s will dated 6 October, 2006 would be found, revealed, discovered, dropped from the sky.”

Bain, who became Jackson’s business manager in 2006 after working as his spokesperson, clarified that she’s not in possession of the will.

“But I have had the honour of having heard him, sat with him, and I witnessed it along with a notary,” she said.

“I knew where his head was and in what direction he wanted to go.

“In the 10 years since his death... I know of no scholarship, no endowment, no chair, no school or contribution to any historically black college and university, or college or university in Michael Jackson’s name.

“I know of no recording studio, hospital, clinic, foundation, charity. I’ve heard of no gift or major contribution to any organisation even named for him or given in the name of Michael Jackson.”

At the time of Jackson’s death in 2009, it emerged that the singer had named co-executors for his estate in a will dating back to 2002. Two of those co-executors were granted control of the estate.

Relations between the co-executors and Jackson’s relatives have been difficult and have been the object of an ongoing public dispute since the singer’s death.

Jackson’s 2002 will, the only one known to this day, left his assets to a family trust and named his mother Katherine Jackson as the legal guardian of his three children.

Jackson’s estate told The Independent that “Raymone Bain is not authorised to act on behalf of the Michael Jackson Estate nor to use Michael Jackson’s name in any way for charitable or her own commercial purposes”.
