Lollapalooza has released their 2019 line-up, with Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, The Strokes and Twenty One Pilots headlining.

Other big names to feature include Tame Impala, Flume, The Chainsmokers, Kacey Musgraves, Lil Wayne, Janelle Monae, Tenacious D, Death Cab for Cutie, and Meek Mill.

The music festival, which takes place at Chicago’s Grant Park, returns 1 August. See the full line-up below.

The Lollapalooza 2019 line-up shares a fair amount in common with Coachella, which will be headlined by Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino and Tame Impala. Kanye West was supposed to headline Coachella, but reportedly pulled out after they could not accommodate his stage.

Last year's Lollapalooza headliners included The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Arctic Monkeys and Jack White. The line-up was criticised for featuring few female acts, with no female musicians appearing on the poster until the fourth line down.
