Cardi B has postponed a concert date following plastic surgery.

The Grammy-winning rapper was due to headline the 92Q Spring Bling Festival in Baltimore, Maryland this Friday (24 May), but the event has been pushed back to 8 September.

Cardi B previously cancelled a show in El Paso, Texas, which was due to take place on Tuesday (21 May).

A representative for the 26-year-old said she was "very disappointed" about having to delay the shows.

Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work, she didn't take the time necessary to fully recover after her surgery," the representative said.

"Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body and she now has been given strict doctors' orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May.

"She's very disappointed and hates to let her fans down, but she wants to reassure them that she'll see them in September!"

Cardi B, who is married to Migos rapper Offset, gave birth to daughter Kulture in July last year and underwent plastic surgery afterwards.

She told Entertainment Tonight she had work on her breasts carried out and earlier this month told an audience she should not be performing after undergoing liposuction.

Cardi B won the Grammy Award for best rap album earlier this year for her Invasion Of Privacy record.
