It’s only Christmas Eve, but delirium has already set in.

I don’t know if it was the prospect of sitting in front of hours of action movie re-runs over the festive period that led Twitter user @DeathByJigsaws to this intuition but yes, you can nearly tell 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' through Bruce Willis films.

It turns out Hollywood’s favourite thumb has starred in a staggering number of number-based films, and not just in the form of sequels.

Twelve Monkeys, Lucky Number Slevin, The Sixth Sense and Fifth Element stand-in for the drummers drumming, swans a-swimming, geese a-laying and gold rings, and the list got pretty inventive by number one, pulling out Willis’ Friends cameo in 'The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth’s Dad'.

Sadly 11 seems to be the only number below 12 Bruce has yet to represent in cinemas, and I sincerely hope his agent is trying to make amends in this regard as we speak.
