Oscars 2019: Wayne's World reunion

There was a Wayne’s World reunion at this year’s Oscars ceremony.

Mike Myers and Dana Carvey dropped in to introduce Best Picture nominee Bohemian Rhapsody, which is the Queen song their characters sing in the 1992 film.

"We're not worthy, we're not worthy!" Myers said, referencing a famous moment from Wayne's World. He added: "We're humbled to be tied to that song."

Bohemian Rhapsody had won three Oscars before Myers and Carvey took to the stage: Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Editing.

The 2019 Oscars saw Rami Malek take home Best Actor for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Other winners included Olivia Colman for The Favourite and Alfonso Cuarón took home Best Director for his Netflix drama Roma. Green Book won Best Picture, proving a controversial choice over Roma.
