Jennifer Lawrence is infamously clumsy, but her latest revelation about an onset mishap may put off any future crew members from filming with her.

Appearing on the Graham Norton Show with fellow Passengers star Chris Pratt, The Voice coach will.i.am and TV chef Jamie Oliver, Lawrence revealed that she "almost killed" a sound crew member with a sacred rock on the set of the Hunger Games.

The Oscar-winning actress said that filming was taking place in Hawaii when she decided to "butt-scratch" in her wetsuit on some sacred rocks.

"You're not supposed to sit on them... but they were so good for butt-itchin'," Lawrence explained. "But one rock that I was butt-scratching on ended up coming loose. And a giant boulder rolled down this mountain and almost killed our sound guy.

"And this whole station got destroyed, it was a huge dramatic deal. And all the Hawaiians were like 'it's the curse!'. And I was in the corner going 'I'm your curse'."

Lawrence's upcoming film Passengers is one of the most hotly-anticipated releases of the year. Directed by Morten Tyldum, it sees Lawrence and Pratt as travellers on an interstellar spaceship bound for a new planet, whose hibernation pods are deactivated 90 years too early.

Tyldum told Entertainment Weekly that the script was "one of those stories that really grabs you and you fall in love with it".

"It's very smart and funny and clever and such a page-turner I couldn't put it down. Every 10 pages, something happens! At the same time, it's a very intimate movie while taking on this epic scale."
