Gwyneth Paltrow forgets that she starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming during episode of Netflix's The Chef Show

Gwyneth Paltrow has a lot going on in her life. Alongside authoring multiple cookbooks, running the company Goop, and being the face of numerous lifestyle brands, she also plays the character Pepper Potts in the Avengers film.

So far, Paltrow has appeared in seven Marvel films, including the Iron Man trilogy and three Avengers films. So you can perhaps forgive her for forgetting her small role in a little film called Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Appearing on Jon Favreau and chef Roy Choi’s Netflix cooking show, Paltrow asked when the idea for The Chef Show came about. Favreau explains that they began filming in Atlanta, while they were working on Spider-Man.

Spider-Man?” Paltrow says. “We weren’t in Spider-Man.”

Favreau counters: “Yes we were. You were in Spider-Man.”

“No,” Paltrow says, looking visibly shocked. “I was in Avengers.”

Favreau then breaks down the scene, explaining how “Tom Holland’s there and you’re gonna walk out and do a press conference”.

Paltrow concludes: “That was Spider-Man! Oh my God!” Watch the clip below.

Paltrow last appeared as Pepper Potts in the film Avengers: Endgame. Farveau plays the character Happy Hogan in the series, and will reprise his role in the forthcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home.
