Destination Wedding: Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves reunite in new trailer
The two actors reunite on-screen in the romantic comedy
Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves are set to reunite on-screen in upcoming romantic comedy Destination Wedding.
The film centres on Frank (Reeves) and Lindsay (Ryder) - two cynical wedding guests who constantly complain.
From their seating arrangements at the wedding to waiting to board their flight, the duo finds a reason to be disgruntled about practically everything.
"So, we’re just the people you don’t know where to stick?" Ryder’s Lindsay wonders after voicing her annoyance for her seating chart."
"You might as well just stick us together," Reeves' Frank responds.
"I don’t want to be a person you don’t know where to stick," Ryder argues.
The trailer also reveals the pair's pessimistic perspectives on love.
While Reeves' character calls destination weddings "presumptuous" and adds that he thinks "there's nobody for anyone," he also chides Ryder's character for having feelings for the groom.
They eventually realise in the trailer that they might dislike everything else, but they don't dislike each other.
Reeves and Ryder have previously starred in several films together including 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula, 2006’s A Scanner Darkly and 2009’s The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
Destination Wedding is due in theatres Aug. 24.
