Bond 25: Cast of Daniel Craig’s final James Bond outing revealed

The next James Bond film will be called No Time To Die – the 25th official film in the spy franchise will see Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as an MI6 agent.

The movie, expected to be Craig’s final Bond film, will be released on 3 April next year in the UK and 8 April in the US.

Up until now, the film has been referred to as Bond 25 and the official title has been a long time coming. An event held at Ian Fleming’s Goldeneye estate in Jamaica in April raised hopes that the name would be unveiled, to no avail.

Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek has been confirmed as the film’s yet-unnamed primary antagonist, which marks his Bond debut.

Ralph Fiennes will return as M, while Naomie Harris will reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny.

Léa Seydoux will once again appear as Dr Madeleine Swann and Ben Wishaw is returning as Q.

Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch, meanwhile, will appear as Nomi. Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge is one of the writers.

Craig first appeared as Bond in Casino Royale (2006). He has since reprised the role for Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).

In the film, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), from the CIA, turns up asking for help.

A mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading 007 onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
