Avengers: Endgame: Chris Pratt shares 'illegal' behind-the-scenes look at major scene

*Warning: Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame*

Chris Pratt shared what he admitted was a highly “illegal” behind-the-scenes video from the filming of a major scene in Avengers: Endgame.

The actor, who plays Star-Lord, shared a clip on Instagram that showed actors gathered on the set of the film’s climactic battle, where characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe join forces to defeat Thanos and his armies.

The footage includes Dave Bautista (Drax), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), among many others.

“This is a really illegal video,” Pratt says, after turning the camera on himself.

Avengers: Endgame has smashed box office records with global ticket sales total estimated at $1.2bn over the weekend.

According to the film’s distributor, Walt Disney Co, the Marvel film generated an astonishing $350m in the US and Canada alone.

The total has far-surpassed analyst estimates, along with the previous record of $257.7m set a year ago by Avengers: Infinity War.

The movie has received largely positive reviews from fans and critics alike, who are calling it one of the most emotional blockbusters from the MCU in recent years.

Reviewing for The Independent, Geoffrey Macnab called it Marvel’s “most emotional and complex superhero movie ever”. Read the full review here.
