Ever wondered what your favourite tipple would look like under a microscope? No, we hadn’t either. But American scientist Michael Davidson did.

Davidson looked at Champagne, vodka, whisky and other beverages in the laboratory and discovered that the molecular make-up of alcohol was aesthetically pleasing.

His discovery led to the founding of BevShots, a company which sells prints of art made from beer, wine and other drinks.
